Tomorrow being Saturday, October 3, 2020, will be a special day set aside for a health revolution take off at 6.30am, as the Valentine Chineto Ozigbo Foundation launches VCO Walk4Health in Awka, the capital city of Anambra State.
According to the organizers headed by Valentine Chineto Ozigbo, 9news.ng gathered that “Walk4Health is designed to impact 3 essential areas of our lives: Mind, Body and Community.
He further stated that in VCO Foundation, “we agree with the time-honoured adage that health is wealth and that the greatest asset we can possess, collectively or individually is sound health”, he added.
According to Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, he Said “Unfortunately our greatest challenge today is health-related which has its root cause in our lack of regular physical exercises”.
“We have packaged VCO Walk4Health to positively impact the body and the mind; and to remind us of our oneness as Ndi Anambra”.
He further stated that VCO Walk4Health is a public health and fitness programme open to all interested Anambra residents, featuring: Brisk Walk, Music, Dance, Workout, Health Talk and Fun for all.
According to the organizers “We will be moving from Ekwueme Square to Aroma junction then to Eke Awka via the old road, connect to Regina Celi and back to Ekwueme Square”, he added.
