I have come across a rating by NBS on the country labor Force Statistics 2020 in which Ebonyi State was strategically positioned in the front row as one of the top 5 states that have the lowest unemployment index in the Federation.

The statistics also stands Ebonyi out as one of the States that has the highest percentage of the fully employed population.

The Statistics as arrived at by the credible rating Agency are correct and emphasize that no efforts made to better the lots of the people would go unnoticed.

Since the assumption of office in 2015, Governor Umahi knowing the problems of Ebonyi people turned the State into a construction site with vagaries of well-paying works ongoing in all nooks and crannies.

Those desirous of being self-reliant have since taken advantage of the already existing jobs in the State to empower themselves economically.

The Ebonyi State Shopping mall, one of the best in West Africa is one of the highest employing sites and when fully completed and put to use, it would generate more thousands of jobs for Ebonyi Youths.

The Ebonyi State University Teaching Hospital Uburu and the Ebonyi International Airport all of which have reached advanced stages of completion are other sites that have adequately engaged Ebonyi Youths in avenues for quick turnovers.

These sites and more are expected to triple the job availability status of the State and even take it to the zenith in the comity of States in the Federation when they are eventually completed.

In no distant time, Ebonyi would soon become a Centre of attraction in terms of job generation per State courtesy of the ingenuity of our transformative Governor, Engineer David Nweze Umahi who surely deserves to assume the number one plum job in the country to enable him to escalate his job creation magic in tackling the increasing unemployment index in the Country.
