Majority Leader Kanayo Onyemaechi Maintains That Charter Of Equity Is Realistic Through Uzodinma- Imo Elders’ Council Re-Assures

The Majority Leader IMHA, Rt Hon. Kanayo Onyemaechi (Egbe) said that the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, reiterated his dedication to upholding the Imo State Charter.

The Governor hinted this during a visit by the Imo State Elders Council to the Government House Chambers. Onyemaechi said that Governor Uzodinma assured the Elders Council that he views the Charter of Equity as a pragmatic and achievable framework, and he pledged to utilize the full extent of government resources to protect its integrity.

He stressed that implementing the document requires a joint effort and called upon the Elders Council and the citizens of Imo State to provide their united support.

Rt Hon. Kanayo Onyemaechi said according to the Governor, “The Imo State Charter of Equity is realistic and assures you that as the Governor of Imo State, I will use all Government’s machinery to defend the document.

He, however, stated that the implementation of the document is a collective responsibility of all Imolites. On this therefore, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma urged the Elders Council and the entire good people of Imo State for their collective support and support of his re election bid.

He praised the Elders Council for their role in crafting the Charter of Equity, emphasizing that it would contribute to political stability in the state.

Rt Hon. Kanayo Onyemaechi Stated that During the meeting, HRH Eze Ilomuanya disclosed that the Charter of Equity is anticipated to promote Unity, Peace, and Stability in the political landscape of the state.

He emphasized that it is a forward-looking initiative designed for the betterment of all Imo people, transcending individual interests or geopolitical zones.

Kanayo Onyemaechi while reassuring Imo voters to go all out to vote Governor Uzodinma on Saturday November Governorship Election, the legislator quoted Eze Ilomuanya as stated:

“To us and Imo people, the Imo Charter of Equity is for the future and the betterment of Imo people.

“It is not self-serving neither is it intended for any particular individual or geopolitical zone in the State rather it’s a pathfinder to a greater Imo”

Recall that Kanayo Onyemaechi broke the jinx of back-to-back Majority leader in the history of Imo state and his unwavering efforts in the course of Imo Charter of Equity is second to none.

He however pleaded with all Imo voters to give His Excellency Uzodinma a massive vote on Saturday November 11 Guber Election, to enable him achieve the CHARTER OF EQUITY as enshrined into law.
