Real Madrid have left Kylian Mbappé out of their squad for the Copa del Rey semi-final first leg against Real Sociedad on Wednesday due to a dental problem.
The French superstar did not train with his teammates on Tuesday ahead of the match, but coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that the striker would still travel to San Sebastián.
Mbappé is Madrid’s top scorer this season, with 28 goals in 39 matches across all competitions, as Midfielder Fede Valverde and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois were also omitted from the travelling squad as they recover from minor fitness issues.
Meanwhile, England international Jude Bellingham has returned to the squad after missing Sunday’s La Liga victory over Girona due to suspension.
On Tuesday, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid played out a thrilling 4-4 draw in the first leg of the other semi-final.
