Mercy Television, the media unit of Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin’s Church, has released an official statement addressing the false claims made by Mr. Martins Vincent Otse, also known as “VeryDarkMan,” regarding the removal of spiritual items from the Mercy Television website and related platforms.

This is to inform the general public that Mr. Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as “VeryDarkMan,” a self-proclaimed activist and critic, recently published a video in which he alleged that Mercy Television, under the leadership of Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, had removed all Church-approved spiritual items from the official Church website. We categorically state that this claim is false, baseless, and a clear attempt to mislead the public with malicious intent.
According to Sophia Lioyd, the MercyTelevision and its management firmly reject these unfounded allegations. The statements made by Mr. Martins are nothing more than cheap propaganda intended to tarnish the reputation of our General Overseer and cast the Church in a negative light before our members and visitors.
We also wish to clarify that Mr. Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as “VeryDarkMan,” does not represent or speak on behalf of the Church in any capacity. His statements are personal and have no affiliation with Mercy Television or the Church. We have directed our legal team to take appropriate action in response to this defamatory content.
Additionally, we want to reassure the public that any official information regarding the Church will be communicated through our authorized channels. Mercy Television and the Church disclaim any liability or responsibility for the actions, statements, or publications made by Mr. Martins Vincent Otse.
