FEW MINUTES AGO, THE HONOURABLE DR. PASCHAL CHIGOZIE OBI CHAIRED THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE BILL FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTRE, OGHARA, DELTA STATE AND FOR OTHER RELATED MATTERS ( HB . 573) as stated by Dominion and Diamond consult ably led by Temple Okonji Esq.
Abuja, Nigeria.

9News Nigeria reports that the process of law making has statutory requirements and procedures, which include the various stages in first reading, second reading, committee, and third reading.

These according to information revealed to us said are entrenched Legislative Processes and Procedures globally.

Meanwhile, the public hearing stage of every Bill in every Legislative House comes upon the survival of the rigours of the second reading where arguments for and against the propriety of the proposed law are aggregated, distilled and endorsed by the House. At this stage, the House refers the Bill to the appropriate Committee of the House for public engagement, which serves as an avenue to further collate and aggregate the different and divergent positions, views and standpoints of the different stakeholders and industry players and regulators and operators for the sustenance of the importance and relevance of the Bill, and further serve as guide to the House.

Another legislative milestone was achieved today, June 10, 2021 by the Leadership of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Nigeria under The Right Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila. This legislative accomplishment was recorded through the House Committee on Health Institutions in Nigeria headed by The Hon Dr. Paschal Chigozie Obi .

Futhermore, the House Committee on Health organized one day Public Hearing for a Bill for an Act for the Establishment of the Federal Medical Centre , Oghara, Delta State, and for other Related Matters ( HB. 573 ) today, June 10, 2021 at Room 231 , The House of Representatives, National Assembly Complex, Abuja Nigeria.

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY COMMENCED HEARING ON THE BILL FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTRE OGHARA DELTA STATE

Excellently coordinated and superintended by the Chairman of the Committee who doubles as The Honourable Member representing the Ideato North / Ideato South Federal Constituency of Imo State, Nigeria, The Honourable Dr. Paschal Chigozie Obi, to the commendations and endorsements of the Legislators and the Stakeholders and Industry Players and Regulators and other Professionals. Truly, it was most successful and colourful in all ramifications and descriptions!

The Clerk of the Committee, Mr. Hakilu Abass assisted by the Staff of the Committee, anchored and coordinated the Secretariate, and the Technical Activities.

The Dominion and Diamond Konsults headed by Temple Okonji Esq provided the legislative and professional services and consultancy.

The Legislative Staff of the Chairman and The Hon. Members of the Committee played dutiful roles and responsibilities.
