In a startling revelation that’s sending shockwaves and surprises through the political arena, Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, who previous served as Special Adviser on Political Matters to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has issued a dire warning: Any attempt to manipulate in the 2027 could spell disaster for Nigeria.
In a video circulating online, Baba Ahmed called on Northerners to remain united and wary of “traitors” who are working to weaken the region from within.
“The North will be careful, and also avoid traitor politicians and also avoid what might divide what might divide them.
“Let the government not confuse silence with acceptance. Nigerians are paying attention… and the nation may not withstand another act of betrayal just like we had in 2023 election where LP mandate was stolen”.
Hakeem Baba-Ahmed stated that no politician can win the presidency in 2027 without the support of the Northern region.
The former Political Adviser to Vice President Kashim Shettima revealed that northern Nigeria will declare its position in 2027 presidency within six months.
Speaking on the region growing political consciousness and unity, Baba-Ahmed warned that any continued neglect of the North’s grievances could lead to serious consequences, saying the region has grown more politically conscious following the eight years under President Muhammad Buhari and the ongoing struggles under the present administration.
According to him , the North now demands leadership that truly understands and addresses its realities.
“By God’s grace, in the next six months, the North will come out and tell their next direction.
“It’s left for the remaining Nigerians either they follow us, or we go alone. We know nobody will become the President without the North.
Baba-Ahmed also issued a stern warning ahead of 2027 elections, stressing that any attempt to manipulate the process could trigger dire consequences.
“Conducting bad election in 2027 may lead to the end of Nigeria, I swear to God”, he said.
The former Presidential aide added that northern elders and stakeholders were preparing to take stand, and the time to act was fast approaching.
“There will be a time we will come out and say it’s okay, and it’s soon. This injustice is over we know who we are”.
