Nigerian music sensation, Tiwa Savage, was featured on New York Times, Monday, September 7.
The music star pulled off two chic looks by two Nigerian fashion designers, Kenneth Ize and Tola Adegbite. She was styled by celebrity stylist, Daniel Obasi.
Savage spoke to New York Times in a feature titled ‘Tiwa Savage, Queen of Afrobeats, Makes a New Start’.
The feature was a promo for her fourth full-length project titled ‘Celia’.
Also in the feature were two beautiful photos taken by ace street style photographer, Stephen Tayo.
The photos were taken at Lagos lifestyle boutique Alára.
For the first look, Savage wore Ize’s oversized Aso-oke suit with frayed hems paired with mismatched pants.
While for the second look, she wore a polka-dot dress from Adegbite’s label, ‘Turfah’, paired with statement earrings and wooden platform heels.
