Nigerians should use this occasion of 63 Independence to live in peace and maintain the Unity of the Country- Prof Ojo Ademola

WE CAN DO IT

By: Professor Ojo Emmanuel Ademola

Nigerians should use this occasion to live in peace and maintain the Unity of the Country.

We must continue to give unflinching support to this current administration to give speed to the execution of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

In the atmosphere of peace and unity, we must work together on nation-building via sustainable development in the national interest of Nation-building.

Yes, our fathers gave us a Country, we now need to give the coming generation a Nation we can all be proud of essentially and by extension a developed Nation.

In specific terms, we must now be sure of what the real value of Naira is! Not to British pounds, US Dollars and Euro Euros, or any other national currency of some sort, but what is the value of Nigeria Naira to Nigeria God granted Natural and Mineral Resources!

To my mind, rather than the other normal assets covered by natural resources, minerals are a limited asset, and the asset and their benefits should be overseen cautiously to guarantee supported occupations after the mine has returned its last productive precious stone. It means the Government must ensure that holistically, Nigerians must be productive. Every sector of our Economy must be revived for productivity, I mean, we must be nationally productive, which is aggravating individuals’ courage for productivity.

For me, our Education System has to be re-engineered to care for what we indeed need to be productive as a Country.

Happy Independence, Nigerians
