The Northern Youth Initiative for Peace and Good Governance has distanced itself from the participation of planned nationwide protests against bad governance by aggrieved Nigerians, citing national security and peace.

National Convener, Comrade Umar Faruk Lawal while addressing the media in Kaduna, said there is no reason for the planned nationwide protests.

He encouraged Nigerians, most especially the youths to embrace peace and unity and have hope and confidence in President Tinubu’s administration which he believes won’t fail Nigerians on his Renewed Hope Agenda as he promised during the campaign.
