Members of the People’s Democratic Party has reacted over the senseless media attacks against the party by the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State.
In a statement issued by the convener of the Forum Of Anambra PDP Members, Engr. The Forum Advises APGA to Focus on Delivering Their Campaign Manifesto to Ndi Anambra.
Members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have reacted to the senseless media attacks against their party by the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State.
In a statement issued by the convener of the Forum Of Anambra PDP Members, Engr. Chigozie Igwe, he scolded the APGA and its state chairman for their senseless media attacks against the PDP in Anambra State in recent weeks.
While responding to questions from journalists after the forum’s meeting last weekend, Engr. Igwe stated that the recent attacks from the APGA leadership in the state are shameful and a clear indication that the rebuilding process that this group of respected PDP members started in the state has thrown some people, who are bent on misleading Ndi Anambra with an abandoned manifesto, into sleepless nights.
He wondered why the PDP in Anambra State trying to put its house in order would turn into a headache for a ruling party, who should be more concerned about delivering their campaign manifesto to the people of the state.
He noted that the Forum Of Anambra PDP Members is aware that APGA as a political party has never been interested in delivering its campaign manifestos from the outset and that is the reason the forum is attacking the PDP to cover up their track. He warned that the rebuilding process that has begun through the forum is not ending soon.
He advised the current APGA leadership in Anambra State to focus more on delivering their campaign promises to Ndi Anambra and not keep a hopeless eye on the rebuilding process in the PDP at the moment because the strategy is enormous and will wash away any misleading political party in the state when the time comes soon, Engr. Chigozie Igwe concluded.
