16 Plateau House of Assembly All Progressives Congress (APC) members yet -to be sworn-in visited Senator Simon Bako Lalong at his office in the National Assembly, Abuja.
They visited him shortly after the Court of Appeal rejected the motion of the sacked Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members who sought for review of their sack of through their lawyer, Garba Pwul, SAN.
The Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal describing it as waste of judicial time and fined each of them the sum of N8 million naira.
The 16 lawmakers said they were at the National Assembly to show appreciation to Senator Lalong for his leadership of the party in the state as well as his encouragement, counsel and ability to carry everyone along.
They said the law abiding people have remained calm and obeyed the judicial system despite attempt to provoke them and their supporters.
Responding, Senator Lalong thanked them for the visit and said he was happy that the Court has reaffirmed its earlier decision which puts to rest the delay in the swearing in.
He urged them to continue to remain focused in serving the people and avoid any act that would be inimical to the development of the State and growth of democracy.
