Kingsley Uju Chima represented Ohaji/ Egbema/ Oguta/ Oru West Federal constituency in the Federal House of Representative in Nigeria as authoritatively gathered by 9News Nigeria.
At an ongoing consultation tour of the Federal constituency, the people of MMAHU, OBOKOFIA, UMUORJI, MGBARA, ETEKWURU and other communities visited were filled with excitement as they welcomed their Son and Former House of Representatives member, Ohaji/ Egbema/ Oguta/ Oru West Federal Constituency, Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima, in cheerful administration.
During his visits Tuesday, the law maker was warmly received by political leaders, youths, women, and children who expressed strong support for his political journey and praised his continued connection to the grassroots.
At Mgbara, he also visited his maternal home, where he received blessings from community elders who prayed for his success and wellbeing.
At Umuorji, it was a home coming as his people welcomed their beloved son home and showered him with prayers and God’s blessings
In Etekwuru, residents trooped out in large numbers, celebrating him with songs and cheers as he moved through the streets.
Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima appreciated the warm reception and assured the people of his continued commitment to their interests and development.
Hon. Uju Kingsley also made cash donations and bags of rice to the communities visited while promising a continuation of the consultation tour across wards in the area.
Uju Kingsley Chima is a Nigerian politician from Imo State, Born 1978. His Federal constituency remains Oguta/Ohaji-Egbema/Oru West where he serves as a law maker till date.
Kingsley Uju attended Trinity High School in Oguta, then got a Bachelor’s Degree in Cooperative and Rural Development from Enugu State University of Science and Technology before he delved into politics to serve his people.
He won the 2019 House of Reps election under Action Alliance, later defected to APC, and is currently with PDP. He re-contested in 2023 but lost to Dibiagwu Eugene Okechukwu.
Before becoming a federal lawmaker, Hon Kingsley Uju was Sole Administrator of Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, Commissioner for Lands, Chairman of Bureau for Lands, and Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations) at Imo State Government House Owerri.
While in office, he raised issues like the 2022 flood that displaced 80,000+ people in his constituency and pushed for integration of artisanal refineries after the Imo explosion that killed 100+.
