IMO: Several Filling Stations in Owerri Imo state alongside Rivers, Calabar, Lagos, Jos and Sokoto states have stopped selling petroleum for reasons yet to be confirmed by our reporters across the states.

Along Owerri Aba road in Imo state Nigeria, vehicles are struggling to get fuel while people are crying because of the pump price which has gone high as gathered.

The confusion is that several filling stations are selling fuel at different price tags without regulation and uniformity.

Present Pump Price of Fuel is selling at Five Hundred and Thirty Naira (5:30) Naira per litre but likely to go higher to six hundred and seventeen (6:17) to Seven hundred Naira 700 Naira per litre, 9News Nigeria reports.

Filling Stations visited told Newsmen that the management of their filling stations instructed them to lock up and stop sales at the time of this report by 9News Nigeria Owerri.

However, transporters interviewed in the process of this report stated their readiness to go off road to the detriment of the masses, if the News of increase of fuel becomes an established reality.

The people are crying loud to government to as a matter of urgency redeploy their task forces to investigate ailing marketers causing hard times to Nigerians.

Nigerians at large are calling on All Progressives Congress APC administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR to quickly intervene to stop further increase of fuel pump price and hunger in the land.

Our reporters in Lagos, PortHarcourt, Calabar and Jos have confirmed same present position across the states while charging government to stamps down such actions.

The tension is alread going high in Owerri as both transporters and business owners are talking bad against this looming increase as reported.

Majority of Imolites interviewed by 9News Nigeria Owerri expressed sadness over this looming increase on fuel pump price and ravenously calling on Imo state government to intervene.

Our Owerri correspodent is trying to establish calls on the petroleum marketers leadership but their phones were unreachable at the time of this report by 9News Nigeria.

“Everything is on the increase. House rent on the increase. Market prices are high. Transport fare is growing high and the list is endless.
