The University of Abuja (UniAbuja) has expelled 28 students for serious disciplinary offences, including examination malpractices, cult activities, and falsifying results, the instruction announced following a Senate meeting.
According to Habib Yakoob, Acting Director of Information, the expelled students were found guilty of misconduct including:
Examination malpractice, Involvement in cultism, Submission of Fake O’Level results, Assault, Burglary, Theft, and Drug related offence, and Ignoring repeated summons by the disciplinary committee.
The Senate also withdrew certificates of 15 former students who failed to respond to inquiries, cleared nine students, and warned 33 others for offenses like conspiracy, hostel racketeering and fighting.
The University reaffirmed its commitment to discipline, academic integrity, and a safe learning environment.
