Today, in Awka, Chief Lawrence Rapuluchukwu Onuzulike, the National President of IPAN (Igbos For Progressive And United Nationhood), issued a compelling call to political and community leaders in the South East, with a specific focus on Anambra State.
Chief Onuzulike emphasized the urgent need for leaders to actively fulfill their responsibilities, playing a pivotal role in delivering tangible benefits to their communities.
Acknowledging visible efforts by some leaders, he expressed appreciation for public officers actively contributing to local development.
Affirming its commitment to regularly appraise public office holders, aiming to enhance transparency and accountability in governance, IPAN explained that, starting from now, it’ll start scrutinizing the works of all the TC chairmen, PGs, House Of Assembly members, and report their progress to Anambra people.
Seeking to inspire a culture of recognition for exemplary public service, IPAN aims to set a standard for excellence among leaders.
Chief Onuzulike concluded by highlighting the importance of collaboration between leaders and citizens, emphasizing the shared responsibility for regional development.
