Five people, including a pastor, have been abducted by gunmen on Saturday morning in Ekiti State.
Local sources told a correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ado Ekiti that the victims included a pastor identified as Ojo, his driver, Jimoh, and three others.
They were said to be travelling in two vehicles on Ise Ekiti road in Ise/Orun Local Government Area of the state when they were abducted.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Alberto Adeyemi, confirmed the incident.
He said two of the victims had been released, and the police were on the trail of the hoodlums to rescue the remaining three persons.
Mr. Adeyemi urged residents to help the police with useful information to track down criminals in the state. (NAN)
