A military aircraft King Air 350 has just crashed shortly after taking off from Abuja Airport en route Minna. The plane crashed on the runway of the airport after reporting engine failure.
According to a report, 9News Nigeria gathered that the crash was fatal as no life has been saved yet although the airport’s fire service was already on the ground fighting the fire that erupted from the crash.
The military is already investigating the incident, according to the information given out by the Minister of Aviation, Senator Sirika Hadi who posted the report on his official Twitter handle.
He tweeted: “A military aircraft King Air 350 has just crashed short of our Abuja runway after reporting engine failure enroute Minna. It appears to be fatal. We should remain calm & wait for the outcome of investigation by the military, while we pray for the departed soul/souls if any.”
