Federal agents have reportedly raided the Washington, D.C., home of Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar as part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation.
Officers from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) reportedly arrived at Omar’s residence at about 6 a.m., early Monday morning with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) involved in the operation.
The DOJ confirmed that federal agents executed a judicially authorised search warrant at the property.
However, authorities have not publicly disclosed the full scope of the investigation or provided further details about the specific allegations being investigated.
