The Interim management caretaker chairman of Owerri West local government area, Hon.Okechukwu Enyioha has called on the Caretaker President GENERALs of Owerri West to deliver good governance at their respective Communities to restore the lost glory of democratic dividends at the rural communities.
Hon. Enyioha made this assertion at an outing thanksgiving service organized by UMUOMA PEOPLES ASSEMBLY to celebrate the president general of Umuoma Autonomous community, Hon. Uche NWANERI.
In a chat with 9News Nigeria, the IMC Chairman Enyioha hinted that the government of Imo state under the able leadership of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma has come to work for the people of Imo state to deliver the deserved democratic dividends at all levels mostly as it affects rural communities.
He however pointed out that the APPOINTED caretaker president GENERALs have alot work to do, firstly to unite their people and establish the new narrative of the state government at respective Communities.
He however advised PG Uche NWANERI to work for Umuoma Nekede Autonomous community likewise other PGs in the 10 wards of Owerri West.
Enyioha added that ISIEC wards will be more closer to the people than the few INEC wards already existing and therefore requested his constituency to key into governor Hope Uzodinma’s 3R mantra Government.
In reaction, HRH Eze Morrison Eke Omadike of Umuoma Autonomous community Nekede thanked the Government of Imo state for finding one of his best subjects capable of being appionted as PG in Umuoma. Omadike of Umuoma Nekede, while addressing the audience enjoined Umuoma people to embrace peace and work with the Government of the day led by Hope Uzodinma.
He thanked the IMC Chairman Enyioha for his presence at the occasion.
PG UCHE NWANERI expressed happiness for the massive support given to him by UMUOMA PEOPLE and promised to do the community proud through massive GRASSROOT Entrepreneurial empowerment and recent day development.
He added that the state Government was in charge of appointments of OFFICIALS and approval of work ethics and therefore called on the dissenting groups in Umuoma Nekede to sheath their swords and embrace progress.
IMC boss ENYIOHA was at the occasion with local government officials too numerous to mention and the caretaker councilor of Nekede Hon.Chikadibia Okpe as host.
