Government Uzodinma of Imo state has continued to bring on board his administration quantum of road construction within the state.
9News Nigeria can confirm the locations of work done and the quality of bitumen in use by contractors handling these works.Though more works are still going on, the people are happy to witness this new narrative of governance in Imo state.
Meanwhile, roads like Nekede/ Ihiagwa road, Owerri/ Orlu road are ongoing as at the time of this report likewise other major roads bit the truth of the matter is that the contractors have to continue to the end of the project and not the use- to-be pattern of abandonment of work in the name of politics.
Local government allocations mapped out for the development of rural areas should be made to use by the IMC CHAIRMEN to work on rural link roads to spread the dividends to the people in domiciled in respective communities.
Recently, In orlu area as massive reconstruction works are ongoing along the Owerri – Orlu 37km dual carriage way, equipment and manpower have also been deployed to the Owerri – Okigwe 55km road.
Information revealed to 9News Nigeria in Owerri was that these two projects have progressed simultaneously overtime as the government is conscious of timely delivery of these critical infrastructures.
The Cranburg Construction Engineering firm is under instruction to deliver durable outputs with solid drainages, pavements, bridges (where necessary) and other important road fixtures/furnitures.
It is pertinent to mention that in the course of these infrastructural revolutions across the state, Hope Uzodinma’s Government is also putting into consideration, the need to ensure the comfort and safety of Imo people who manage to use these roads.
The Governor has assured the state that in due time, government will also begin work on other identified collapsed infrastructures around the state, as Uzodinma ensure to continue and complete current projects.
It is the hope of the people that Imo roads will remain motorable a d safe for it’s users whose support for Uzodinma’s Government is highly increasing.
