For fear of the imminent sack trailing him as in the case of David Umahi of Ebonyi State who decamped unceremoniously to the All Progressive Congress APC, his co-traveller, Governor Ben Ayade of Cross State has denied his APC membership. The Cross River State Governor has reportedly sworn an affidavit claiming that he is not a registered member of APC, that he only decamped.
Hitherto five members of Cross River State House of Assembly who decamped to APC, had today returned to their former Party the People Democratic Party PDP.
