Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Film Corporation, Dr. Chidia Maduekwe , Thursday paid tributes to Chief Whip of the 9th Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on the occasion of his 62nd birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message personally signed by the Managing Director of the Nation’s Apex film Body, described the former Abia Governor as a trailblazer , selfless leader who has remained focused in defending the downtrodden in the society.
“Senator Orji Kalu is a great leader he’s impact in the business and political sectors of our country has remained indelible. He has remained focused in fighting a just cause for the masses of our society, all through his years he has been relentless in preaching peace, unity and tolerance amongst our Nation’s citizens.
“Furthermore more as a member of your constituency in Abia-North we have felt your massive investment in the areas of infrastructure, empowerment and education especially in the the critical sectors of road construction, agriculture implements to farmers, provision of writing materials, textbooks to students, reconstruction of schools and the provision of furniture, the list is endless. As a first time Senator you have done outperformed other previous Abia-North Legislators in all areas, we are indeed proud of you”
Dr. Chidia further acknowledged Kalu as the Leader of the All Progressive’s Congress in Abia state , while lauding his commitments in advancing the course of the party in the state and the South-East. Chidia added that the Senate Chief Whip’s contributions are untiring sacrificial roles, stating that it had assisted in salvaging and stabilizing the party.
Chidia also prayed for God’s blessings on Kalu he wrote; ” On behalf of the the Nigerian Film Corporation and the good people of Ohafiia I heartily congratulate Senator on his birthday and ask to God to bless him with many more years in good health in the service of our dear fatherland.”
