As the horse trading for 2023 Presidential election thickens, a secret meeting held at the instance of the former Governor of Anambra State HE. Peter Obi to buy off Wike, Ortom, Mimiko, Ikpeazu, Others To support the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi.
Obi, met with the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike and other Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State.
The meeting is the second time Obi would meet with Wike after dumping the PDP and declaring his presidential ambition.
Obi’s meeting with Wike and others was disclosed via Twitter by former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko.
Mimiko disclosed that the meeting was held yesterday night in an undisclosed location venue in River State.
Others in attendance include, former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke; former Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwanbo; Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom; Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu; Mohammed Adoke and several others.
