The Progressive Governor’s Forum has denied speculations of lingering rancour between it’s body, the National Assembly and APC Party leadership.
Wednesday 5-07-2023 the Imo state governor and chairman Progressive Governors’ Forum PGF His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma has opened up to set the record straight and truth be told.
Uzodinma reiterates commitment of the Progressive Governors’ Forum to the Unity of All Progressives Congress APC party as reported by 9News Nigeria.
The Imo State Governor and the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), has therefore given assurance of the forum’s support and commitment to the continued peace and unity in the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Governor Uzodinma gave this assurance after the meeting between
the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) and the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressive Congress party, (APC) at the party’s Headquarters in Abuja.
The Governor denied any rancor between the National Assembly and the party leadership, stressing that the National Assembly leadership are all members of the All Progressive Congress.
He stated that the Progressive Governors remain supportive of the “Renewed Hope” project of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government and the leadership of the National Assembly.
9News Nigeria reports that there is no time the National Assembly and APC Party leadership had issues with the Progressives Governors’Forum led by its chairman, Governor Uzodinma.
The public is hereby asked to ignore the rumour being spread against the unity of All Progressives Congress APC with both the National Assembly and the governor’s Forum.
It is a known fact that Progressive Governor’s Forum has no rancour with National Assembly and APC Party leadership as speculated.
