Suspected Fulani herdsmen last night attacked a village at Ortese, Guma L.G.A,Benue State killing mostly women and children.
The villagers in turn, took over the high way to protest the killings blocking the Makurdi-Lafia Road.
9News Nigeria gathered that, travelers were stranded as there was no movement of Vehicles in or out Of Makurdi the state capital.
All Plea for the protesters to leave the road prove abortive as the demanded to speak with the governor (Fr.Alia) directly.
