Popular Nigerian singer, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, professionally known as Skales has said he and his family now live under consistent fear and anxiety as a result of the recent Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC)invasion of his residence.
Skales said this in a recent episode of the Terms & Conditions podcast.
He noted that he has been receiving series of threats since he made comments against the anti-graft agency, stressing that his life is no longer safe.
“The EFCC operatives that invaded my house didn’t have a search warrant. Obviously, they were illegal.
“My problem with the EFCC guys is not even the fact that they are not doing what they were paid for.” He said.
He however intensified that he is clean.
“They are now using the power to oppress people. They are oppressing me right now. I am scared for my life, I won’t lie to you. I’m scared but at the same time, I know I’m clean, that’s why I’m moving around.”
