Tanzanian recording artiste and businessman, Naseeb Abdul Issack, professionally known as Diamond Platnumz has won the Best African Act Award at the 2023 MTV European Music Awards (EMAs).
He is the first African Artiste to win three MTV EMAs
Diamond Platnumz previously won two awards for Best African Act and Best Worldwide Act (Africa/India) in one night at the 2015 MTV EMAs.
He is also the first Africa-based artist to reach 900 million views on YouTube.
