For decades, Plateau State, North -Central Nigeria has lost his primary sources of transport within and outside of the state capital.
The Tin City buses and commuter trains, which were allowed to ease operations as a result of inadequate maintenance by the past adminisrations are among the modes of transport that benefit Plateau citizens.
As Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang assumed office in 2023 as the governor of Plateau State, he made positive attempts to revive the rail system and other Moribund state asset into usage.
It is well known that the the train system has undergone testing some weeks ago where citizens were overwhelmed with the recent developments that kept alot of people talking and pouring encomiums on the governor.
While applauding the recent developments, the executive governor bought 20-seater buses, powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) to relaunch the state’s forgotten Tin City, which had generated for years.
The goal of reviving the system and Tin City buses is to modernise public transportation and make commuting more accessible to state residents at an affordable rates.
However, this notion arise shortly after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu removed fuel subsidies, resulting in high cost of transportation, among other factors.
Governor Mutfwang revitalised road networks and rail lines throughout the state by maintaining and building high quality roadways for a smooth ride.
