Former Super Eagles and Ajax Amsterdam striker, Tijjani Babangida was involved in a ghastly auto crash on Thursday, 9 May, 2024
Babangida’s younger brother who was a former striker for the Golden Eaglets, Ibrahim died in the crash.
This medium learnt from a report by the Punch online that Babangida’s wife was also in the car.
Ibrahim, former striker of Stationery Stores of Lagos reportedly died on the spot while Tijjani and his wife were rushed to a private hospital.

The trio were traveling from Kaduna to Zaria when the accident occured with Ibrahim dying on the spot
