The Newly Appointed Caretaker Committee Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Hon.Darlington Orji, has inaugurated the caretaker Committee members and other Political Appointees who will work with him.
The Chairman during the inauguration, charged the CTC members and the Political Appointees to always maintain peace and order while discharging their duties.
The ceremony took place today, Monday, the 24th of June, 2024 at the Customary Curt, Elele in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The council boss urged them to see the opportunity as a call to serve and help his administration and that of the State Government under the administration of Sir. Siminalayi Fubara to succeed.
The CTC Chairman, commended the Governor for allowing him and his team to serve, promising that they would not disappoint him.
CTC members and their positions included: Engr. Newton Amadi, supervisor for Health, Engr. Chinedu Wodike, the supervisor for Education, Daniel Eluke, the supervisor for agricultural Thanagriculturem is the work, and Harold Onuoha the supervisor.
On the other hand, the principal officers included Mrs Helena Chinwendu Orduwa, as the council secretary, Sir Jonathan Opurum, chief of staff, Sir Innocent Worusah, as the principal secretary to the chairman, Israel Abosi, legal adviser, others Kingsley Echedike as the chief press secretary, Azubuike Samuel Chigoziri, protocol officer and Lucky Emmanuel as the chief security officer.
Dignitaries at the event are members representing Ikwerre Emuoha federal constituency, Hon. Boniface Emerengwa, River State Civil Service Commissioner, Sir Mike Elechi, Traditional leaders, Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA) Ikwerre LGA, Mrs. Fortune Nne Okah, Chairman of PDP Ikwerre LGA, Hon. Denis Amadi, party faithful amongst others.
