An erstwhile House of Reps Member representing the good people of Sankera axis,Sen.Gabriel Torwua Suswam has been suspended from the People’s Democratic Party over gross insubordination.

Sen.Gabriel Suswam was also the former governor of Benue State and a Senator representing Zone A,that is North -East senatorial district.

9News Nigeria gathered that, recently the PDP in Benue has been having a serious crisis in the state. The tussle which lead to the suspension of another Ex-Governor, Chief Samuel Ortom.

In a press statement signed by Hon.Bemgba Iortyom, also Suspended according to John Ngbede;Bemgba had written to Gabriel Suswam asking him to appear before the panel that was loyal Ortom.

Sen.Suswam while reacting to the summon,he made it clear that those inviting him where absurd, criminals, shameless, Undesirable, out of favour and rejected elements that should bury their heads in shame than inviting him to appear before them.

Suswam who spoke through his Media aid,Bede Bartholomew said:

“It smacks of complete absurdity that the suspended Publicity Secretary of the Benue State Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Bemgba Iortyom, would run errands for a fellow suspended member to issue a statement on behalf of the State PDP and expect anyone to take such notice as valid.

“Bemgba should quickly come to terms with the fact that as a suspended spokesperson of the party, he no longer wields the constitutional rights to issue valid statements on behalf of the party, except he enjoys writing releases of no impact and meaning.

“We may soon agree that since these party sellouts dare to secretly and later publicly indulge in anti-party practices, it is reasonable to expect anything absurd from them.

“Mr. Bemgba, who today masquerades as a courageous writer attempting to draw Senator Suswam’s attention to an imaginary panel invite, was, a few days ago, in the field practically snatching ballot boxes at the ward congress like a common felon.

“Today, along with Mr. Isaac Mffo and Adzua Ashongo, I have buried shame and conscience to disrespectfully write to invite the former governor Gabriel Suswam to a kangaroo panel of anti-party men.

“i invite Mr. Bemgba to desist from this disrespectful act and honorably abide by the suspension issued to him and his turncoat colleagues until the party sees fit to discuss their backstabbing acts against the soul of the PDP!

“After all, their tenures as state exco officials would have ended tonight by 12 midnight, and walking away with dignity would have been deemed more respectable than these kindergarten attempts to distract the people and the party from the real issues at hand.

“Finally, I want to advise Isaac Mffo and his co-travelers to go and leak the wounds of their bruised ego in one corner as nobody forced them to misbehave or owes them anything, and they must desist from dragging the good name of the very honorable gentleman and people champion in the mud along with theirs, he is not into a popularity contest with anyone, Bartholomew stated!

Without hesitation, the Camp loyal to Ex-Gov Suspended Gabriel Suswam over gross Suswam was suspended alongside Hon.Richard Gbande,Hon.Terngu Tsegba and a host of others.
