Nigerian singer and songwriter, Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma popularized as Qing Madi has said that she lost about 5,000 followers on Instagram because she posted about her relationship with God.
In a recent episode of the Afrobeats Intelligence podcast, she explained that while the incident was wild, she never shrieked her faith.
According to her, she got about 10,000 followers more after 5,000 unfollowed her on Instagram.
When asked if she ever had to shrink her faith, Madi replied; “I posted a video on my story where I was talking about God and the next day, I had lost about 5,000 followers on Instagram.
“Blogs started posting about it. It was crazy but I got like 10,000 followers back”.
