Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC) stormed Nigeria’s National Assembly on Thursday 12th July 2018 to protest yesterday’s Police harassment of the Ekiti state incumbent governor, Ayodele Fayose.
The party’s National chairman, Chief Uche Secondus was the leader of the protest that blocked the National Assembly complex today.
Received by the Deputy senate president, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, the committee members showed solidarity for Governor Ayodele Fayose, and clamoured for a free, fair and credible governorship election in Ekiti state this Saturday.
Many of the PDP party members and chieftains were in attendance at the protest including former Majority Leader of the Senate, Mulikat Akande-Adeola, former Minister of Health, Prof. ABC Nwosu, former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara, and former National Woman Leader Josephine Anenih.
