The firm announced the appointment in a statement shared on its official X account.
According to the statement, Von Batten expressed gratitude to Trump for the appointment and the confidence placed in him.
The firm described the appointment as a significant honour and said it reflects Von Batten’s longstanding commitment to public service and leadership.
“Dr. Von Batten looks forward to answering the call to serve our President and country,” the firm said.
