The Rivers State House of Representative member representing Etche and Omuma federal constituency at the national assembly, Chief Hon. Ephraim Nwuzi, the Asa Asa Nga Asa, has again defected to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Recall that Chief Hon. Ephraim Nwuzi contested under the platform of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general elections and won a seat in the Federal House of Representatives.
In August 2020, the Federal Lawmaker dumped the state’s ruling party, PDP, and joined the Etche APC caucus meeting at the residence of the leader of APC in Etche, and was received by the former chairman of the party Elder George Nwanjoku.
After losing his election on February 25th, 2023 to Kelechi of PDP, Ephraim Nwuzi has again defected to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
He was received by the state governor, Nyesom Wike, and other Lawmakers in the state at the residence of the governor.
His defection is coming less than 24 hours after Alex Wele who contested under the APC for Obio/Akpor Constituency 1, defected to the PDP.
