The Imo State Governor, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma has disclosed that The Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) will resume work in Imo State after being off-site for a while.

Governor Uzodinma stated this after receiving in audience, Shell’s Managing Director, Osagie Okunbor at the Imo State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja earlier today.

However matters bordering on bunkering and theft of oil and company equipment were discussed with the conclusion of Shell returning back to site in Imo State.

This is a welcome development to improve the oil sector in Imo state Nigeria.
