An emergency call has gone to the governor of Imo State, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma to speedily address replacing the deceased traditional rulers in the affected communities and approve the PRONOUNCEMENT of the newly created Autonomous Communities in the state.
The call also includes the PRONOUNCEMENT of traditional rulers at the newly created Autonomous Communities in Imo state.
9News Nigeria reports that the delay in replacing new MONARCHS at the affected communities is fusing many troubles. If nothing is done immediately to address this lingering crisis, the worst may trigger out to truncate the law and order of the Traditional Council of Imo state Nigeria.
However, some of the communities that have gone through the process of Presentations to catch up with the approval of AUTONOMY are talking down on Imo Government for such a stage-managed delay to stagnate governance at the rural communities.
In a meeting held over the weekend in Izombe, Orlu and Owerri simultaneously proved the Chieftaincy council ineffective to have delayed these crucial matters arising at various communities.
In a chat with our CORRESPONDENT who toured the affected communities to ascertain this report, the yet-to-be called Traditional rulers or better still Eze- Elects expressed bitterness over the long delay and call on GOVERNOR UZODINMA to listen to their plights to pronounce both the new EZES and the new Autonomous Communities.
Recall that there are Development areas created by previous administrations that are supposedly approved local government areas and community AUTONOMY but regrettably ignored till date.
Meanwhile, now that GOVERNOR Hope Uzodinma is poised to Improve the state and add value to the welfare of Imolites, it behoves his administration to approve the PRONOUNCEMENT of new traditional rulers and new Autonomous Communities in Imo state Nigeria.
Without further delay, it is the responsibility of the Government to carry the rural communities along in their scheme of governance to better the state.
This cold lingering crises at various affected communities must be resolved with Immediate effects to calm the tempo and make the people happy
without further delay.
We are on a regular interface with some of these Communities seeking self-determination cum AUTONOMY and some of these Traditional rulers seeking to replace deceased MONARCHS.
9News Nigeria Imo state crew further investigated producing these TRADITIONAL RULERS and the possibilities in creating MORE AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITIES in Imo state, which has gone through the special committee set up by the Imo state house of ASSEMBLY pending its PRONOUNCEMENT by the GOVERNOR.
