Governor Fubara’s Government Is Jamboree Government, Says Tony Okocha

The Caretaker chairman of All Progressives Congress in Rivers State CHIEF TONY OKOCHA has described the government of Sir Siminalayi Fubara as jamboree for not being able to execute any project since his assumption into office.

OKOCHA while briefing journalists in Port Harcourt said economic value has been achieved, except the squandering of state resources in the guise of Thanksgiving from different groups in the state.

He rubbishes Governor Fubara’s administration of running a one-man government without the input State Executive Council, the legislative arm, and condemned the act as a party with large numbers of Assembly members

OKOCHA expressed dismay over the seizure of Local Government allocation, which he described as one that will hinder the progress of the third tier of government.

OKOCHA insisted that local government elections should be conducted at the stipulated time and wondered why activities for such elections have not yet commenced in the state.
