The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ette Ekwe Ibas (Rtd), has officially sworn in the newly elected local government chairmen, following the just concluded Local Government elections.
According to the official results released by the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), the APC won 20 out of the 23 Local Government Areas, while PDP secured 3 chairmanship seat in Obio/Akpor, Port Harcourt City, and ogba/Egbema/Ndoni.
