A conglomerate of advocacy groups in Imo state the eastern heartland have requested His Excellency governor Hope Uzodinma to empower them and let the followership loose to support his political ambition.
This was released as a communique signed by the youth groups who said that they are not interested in the recent mobilization of Imo youths and students on regular basis by the SA on youth and it’s commissioner to ask for support for the government.
9News Nigeria gathered that few days to the visit of APC dignitaries in the state, the youth adviser to the GOVERNOR called on Imo youths to gather in their numbers to support the government but regretted the attitude he exhibited during the outing that led to disagreements and conflicts among the youths.
Newsmen recorded the unfortunate scenerio that led to this open declaration of the total independence of Imo youths to support Imo Government having seen the quantity of projects the Government has on board.
A call in the right direction therefore is for the government of Imo state Nigeria to address Imo youths and recognize all structures.
The youths have continued to ask why the Government has not recognised Imo youths from various structures in the struggle??
