The United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Nigeria, Edward Kallon has called on the #EndSars protesters to remain peaceful.
Edward Kallon said that he has followed the developments regarding #EndSARS movement and the government’s commitment to dismantle the outfit & reform the Nigerian Police @PoliceNG.
Kallon said that the whole scenario is a welcome development and that the process of attaining the required police reform may take time.
He therefore appealed to the youth who are engaged in the #EndSars protest to remain peaceful.
He also reiterated that the United Nations @UN is committed to supporting Nigeria’s continued stability.
Edward Kallon is also the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme in Nigeria.
