The family of the late Alhaji Aminu Dantata is currently making plans to move his body to Saudi Arabia for his burial.
According to the businessman’s son, Sanusi Dantata, his late father’s wish was to be buried in the city of Madinah in Saudi Arabia.
In a post made on X, Sanusi said efforts are being put in place to get the needed authorisation from the government of Saudi Arabia for the process.
His words, “Late Alh. Aminu Dantata’s long-term wish was to be laid to rest in the Holy Prophet’s city of Madinah.
“Arrangements for approval from Saudi authorities to move the corpse from Abu Dhabi to Madinah are still ongoing,” Sanusi stated.
He, however, noted that should all efforts to bury the late businessman in the Holy Land fail, his body would be brought back to Nigeria for burial.
“If it prolongs, the corpse will be brought back to Kano for burial.
“May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannah-tul-Firdaws. Ameen,” he added.
Recall that Alhaji Dantata died at the age of 94 on Saturday, June 28.
The famous businessman was said to have died in Abu Dhabi.
