The leadership of Awgu youths General Assembly, Enugu State, have deemed it fit to create an enabling environment for all the son’s and daughters of it’s origin to Interact during this Yuletide period.
In a statement released by the national President (Comr. Joe Udefi) through the Publicity secretary of the Assembly, Comr. Silas C. Okolie, he stated that:
“In order to consolidate on the norms of our people all over the world returning home during festive periods, especially Christmas periods, to dine and wine with their Loved ones ones”.
“Awgu Youth General Assembly (AYGA) has mapped out this program “Awgu Unu Ejee” as a town hall meeting/Christmas Carol to delibrate, mingle and interact with our Loved ones whom we might have been missing since the beginning of this year”.
He further stated that “In this first edition of the program, the Executives of AYGA have enlisted the following packages as a way to grace the occasion and also make it memorable. The program of event is splited into three categories Stated as follows:
Launching of Awgu Youth General Assembly maiden magazine (“The Anchor”)
Presentation of awards
Public lectures
“He therefore call on all the sons and daughters of Awgu LGA, Youth Associations and Organizations, Non Governmental Organizations, friends and well wishers to join Awgu Youths as they celebrate the first edition of this program in Awgu LGA”, he added.
