A heartless lady identified as Mrs. Ogochukwu Anichukwu who lives with her husband Mr. Emmanuel Anichukwu has damaged the body of her 8years old house help Mma in Anambra.
This incident happened at Nanka in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State where the culprits who hail from Enugu reside. 9news Nigeria gathered that the minor who plays role as nanny and house help to the Anichukwu family was said to have taken a portion of their baby’s milk while preparing the baby’s food.
On discovering that the little girl took from the milk, Mr Anichukwu flogged the house help after scolding her. The wife was quick to pour the hot water to be used to make her baby’s food on the poor girl.
The neighbors confirmed to have seen the couple maltreat the house help and at several times starved her. These have led to the minor resort to eating of sand and trash.
The hot water caused sever injuries on the little girl and she is currently being hospitalized.
Our reporters gathered that the neighbor reported to Human Right Legal Initiative Ekwulobia where the case is being treated. Some eyewitnesses advised parents to desist from sending out their underaged children as househelps as they called on government to make laws that regulate this form of child trafficking.
