The Chairman of the Kano State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdullahi Abbas, has just replied a statement made by the former governor of the State, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
It could be recalled that Kwankwaso said that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will not tolerate a repeat of what happened in the State’s 2019 governorship election.
According to Kwankwaso, the governorship election was declared inconclusive despite the fact that PDP was leading the vote with a large margin.
Replying to this, the State’s APC Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, while speaking at the swearing of the party caretaker executives said that the APC will rig the election again in 2023 and nothing will be done about it.
Mr. Abbas said that since Kwankwaso said that 2023 election will be a do or die affair, that they are ready for that. He said that APC members are not cowards, they are ready for war and not scared of death.
He said that the party will rig the election in 2023 and also repeat the game they played in Gama ward and nothing will happen.
Mr. Abbas spoke with a lot of confidence, almost as if he has looked into the future or has the backings of a higher authority.
Abdullahi Abbas concluded his rant by saying that this is the era of the APC and this is their government and no one can change that.
He also accused Kwankwaso of unlawful activities
