Two siblings identified as Ifezue chiamaka and Ifezue Emeka, were on Wednesday February 3, 2020 arraigned at Enugu state magistrate court for the murder of popular make-up artist, late Ijeoma Nweke.
According to reports, there was conspiracy between chiamaka and the brother Emeka around November, 2020 to kill the deceased Ijeoma for allegedly having an affair with her boyfriend.
It was revealed that chiamaka lured Ijeoma by sending her an invitation for a make-up job. However, on the deceased getting there and suspecting foul play, the deceased quickly sent an SOS message to a friend. She was later coerced to drink a poisoned substance.
An eyewitness who was also present in the court revealed that he witnessed as Ifezue Emeka poured acid on the body of the deceased after which they dumped her corpse at Maryland axis of Enugu metropolis. The case has been adjourned to 24th February, 2021.
