Imo state governor, His Excellency Hope Uzodinma while still in Abuja to has joined his counterparts to salute the visionary leadership of NAOWA for leading the way to remarkable improvements.
This statement was at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA) Wellness Centre, Mambilla Barracks, Abuja.
The governor in his speech, commend particularly, Mrs Fati Attahiru, the National President of NAOWA for leading the way to remarkable improvements for this association in the shortest period of time she assumed office.
According to Uzodinma, these achievements were made possible through the improvement of the quality of life of the women and dependants of members of the Nigerian Army by ensuring the provision of sustainable livelihood opportunities; cleaner, greener community and a superior healthcare system to cater for both their physical and mental wellness.
The governor however assured the women of their continued support in their efforts geared towards improving the well-being of the families of Nigerian gallant officers who stop at nothing to keep us safe and protect our territorial integrity.
Governor Uzodinma was at the event in Abuja early hours of today together with notable leaders.
