Nigerians in the Lake Chad Basin and West Africa have reacted to recent security operations in the country.
Addressing press men in Abuja , Comrade Tamen Daniel said as citizens in diaspora, they were concerned that certain individuals had taken up arms against constituted authority , this led to loss of lives and property of innocent citizens” we all remember how one individual could order from abroad attacks of government formations, killing hundreds of innocent people”
Recalling how Igboho had ambushed men of the Nigerian customs to cart away with smuggled arms and anmunittion.
The group maintained that the only way government could console Nigerians was to bring the perpetrators to justice. ” Now, with the arrest of Kanu, appropriate charges of mass murder should be pressed immediately .
“It is the prosecution of this criminals that would give credence to our sovereinghty and restore confidence of the masses.
The group said the department of state security has by this successes, lived to their constitutional role of defending the nation.
” Let those arrested face the full rath of the law , the group insisted.
