As for man, his days are like grass, As a flower of the field, so he flourishes, For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more. - Psalm 103:15-16
Adieu, my daddy, Pastor Danjuma Tafewa Balewa.
May your soul rest in perfect peace, Amen
Oh Daddy Danjuma, the news of your passing came but was not to be believed until now that it became truth. It’s indeed shocking news that you’re gone, but as we have learnt from the sermons, we can not question God but be thankful for using you in the way He used you for the building and expansion of the kingdom of God.
I and my entire family will forever miss you.
You were indeed a man of honour, passionate and committed to the mission work that you were assigned to do. You touched lives who were nothing before they met you, but turned out to be people of fulfilled destiny because of your spiritual mentorship and care.
A man of action and of his word. You were very caring, and the poor never left your presence without being full. Your sense of humour is unparalleled yet you took no-nonsense from anyone because you stood for what you believed in.
If it were in your hand, Christians in Nigeria would have been treated like kings for you fought for them from the North to the South.
Your good work will man never forget, and I pray that God will honour you as well because, until your death, you fought a good fight of faith.
Adieu, Daddy Danjuma
